Our mission is to help aging people live independently, and home help for seniors can bridge the gap.
The Evangeline Council on Aging is dedicated to providing support and resources to the aging population in the Ville Platte, Louisiana community. We are a nonprofit organization that has been serving locals since 1971. Our goal is to help each senior to enjoy their golden years, and we reach that aim by providing tools that encourage individuals to stay active and connected to others. We host a wide range of activities and educational sessions at our recreation center, but we can also provide assistance to those who aren’t able to come.
Our home help for seniors is available to anyone over the age of 60 who could use some help in their living space. If you are struggling to handle everyday tasks on your own, such as preparing meals or getting dressed, we encourage you to reach out to us for help. You may also have a loved one in this situation, and we can talk to you about the options available to them. Our mission is to help aging people live independently wherever possible, and home help for seniors can bridge the gap.
Many of our clients don’t have family nearby. We will reach out regularly, with genuine caring and compassion, to find out what people need and how we can help. It’s common to feel lonely and isolated as you age, but the home help for seniors we provide can help mitigate these difficulties as well. Turn to us when you need assistance so you can thrive in the later years of your life.
