We offer nutritious, satisfying meals for seniors throughout our community.
Finding the time and energy to cook hot meals for yourself can be challenging, especially if you struggle with mobility issues, chronic pain, or other health problems. As we age, it can be tough to even find a ride to the grocery store to buy ingredients if we’re no longer able to drive ourselves around. For these reasons, our team at Evangeline Council on Aging is committed to cooking and serving nutritious meals for residents throughout the Ville Platte, Louisiana area.
For over 50 years, our local non-profit has been passionate about helping elderly and disabled folks in our community live their best lives. We offer a wide range of services to help people improve their mental, physical, and emotional well-being, from community activities and classes to meal delivery and transportation services. If you have difficulty making meals for yourself, we encourage you to contact us to learn about our meal services.
Our team offers two options for meal services. One is meal delivery, in which one of our team members will bring meals directly to your home. The other option is a community dining experience, where you’ll get to enjoy a freshly cooked dinner with residents throughout the area. Regardless of which option you prefer, you can rest assured that you’ll receive a nutritious and satisfying meal that includes one-third of the recommended daily intake of calories.
